East Los Angeles, California – A serious collision involving five vehicles on the 10 Freeway in East Los Angeles early Sunday morning resulted in six individuals being taken to the hospital, officials reported.

The Los Angeles Fire Department stated that the incident occurred at approximately 5:01 a.m. near Boyle Heights, just east of the 5 Freeway interchange.

Emergency responders confirmed that five vehicles were involved, and six people were transported to nearby medical facilities for evaluation and care.

At least two of the victims sustained serious injuries, while the remaining four suffered non-life-threatening harm, authorities added.
