[07-23-2025] San Diego, CA – Motorcycle Accident in Point Loma Heights Seriously Injures Rider

Point Loma Heights, California – A man sustained serious injuries Tuesday after a collision between a motorcycle and a car in San Diego’s Point Loma Heights area, according to local authorities.

San Diego Police reported that the crash occurred in the 4400 block of West Point Loma Boulevard, where a 28-year-old woman driving a 2018 Honda Civic exited a private driveway and attempted to make a left turn. During the turn, she crossed into the path of an eastbound motorcyclist.

The rider, a 53-year-old man operating a 2002 Harley Davidson, collided with the Honda, police said. The impact left him with multiple injuries, including a fractured pelvis and an open fracture to his left arm. He was taken to a nearby hospital for medical care. No update on his condition has been provided.
