[09-18-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – Suspected DUI Driver Causes a Multiple Vehicles Crash in Culver City

Culver City, California – A suspected intoxicated driver caused a multi-vehicle crash on Sepulveda Boulevard in Culver City Wednesday morning, leaving several people injured and prompting a temporary road closure, authorities said.

The crash occurred around 9 a.m. when a man driving along Sepulveda Boulevard struck two parked cars before colliding with four additional moving vehicles, according to Culver City Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Atenza. Officers responded quickly, and the driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said he will be arrested for suspicion of DUI once he is medically cleared.

Three other people involved in the collisions reported minor pain but did not suffer serious injuries.

Sepulveda Boulevard was shut down in both directions between Culver Boulevard and Braddock Drive while officers investigated the scene. The roadway reopened around 11:30 a.m.
