[10-09-2025] Orange County, CA – Richardson Ayala Identified as the Food Truck Driver Killed in Santa Ana Crash

Santa Ana, California – Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of 67-year-old food truck driver Richardson Ayala of Anaheim late Tuesday night in Santa Ana.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the crash occurred around 10:45 p.m. when Ayala was making a left turn from Warner Avenue onto Broadway. His food truck collided with another vehicle, causing it to overturn and eject him. Ayala was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
