[05-22-2025] Riverside, CA – Pedestrian Killed by Car Involved in Collision

Riverside, California – Authorities report that a pedestrian lost their life after being hit by a car that was involved in a nearby crash early Monday morning in Riverside.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on East Ontario Avenue near Consul Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officials say two vehicles collided, causing one to spin out of control and hit the man who was walking nearby.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene by Riverside County Fire Department paramedics.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police are urging anyone with information to call (951) 324-7210.
