[10-30-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Harbor Freeway in South Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California – A pedestrian was struck and killed early Thursday morning on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles, authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at around 5:53 a.m. on the northbound lanes near Manchester Avenue. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to recover the body, while Caltrans crews assisted in clearing the scene.

Three lanes were temporarily closed, and a SigAlert was issued, causing significant traffic delays in both directions as southbound motorists slowed near the crash site.

The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released pending notification of relatives. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
