[11-03-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – Man Struck by Amtrak Train in Northridge; Condition Unknown

Northridge, California – A man was struck by an Amtrak train in Northridge on Sunday morning and rushed to a hospital in unknown condition, authorities said.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at about 8:07 a.m. to 8875 N. Tampa Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The pedestrian, estimated to be around 30 years old, was treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital.

Roughly 185 passengers were aboard the train at the time of the incident. LAFD personnel conducted triage but reported no injuries among passengers.

Train operations in the area will resume at the discretion of Metrolink officials, authorities said.
