Long Beach, California – A pedestrian lost his life after being hit by two vehicles Sunday night on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. near the intersection of PCH and Santa Fe Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Authorities reported that the victim, a 47-year-old man from Ontario whose identity has not yet been released, was attempting to cross the roadway outside of a designated crosswalk when he was first hit by a car.
Moments later, a second vehicle also struck the man.
The two drivers involved—ages 27 and 50—remained at the scene and are cooperating with investigators.
