Panorama City, California – Los Angeles police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a pedestrian in Panorama City on Tuesday night.
According to an LAPD news release, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. as the victim was walking in the westbound lanes of Roscoe Boulevard near Tobias Avenue. Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a gold or brown van.
Investigators report that the van briefly stopped along the north curb before the crash, then continued driving west on Roscoe Boulevard.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The City of Los Angeles’ Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund is offering up to $25,000 for information leading to the suspect’s identification, arrest, and conviction.
