Long Beach, California – A pedestrian was killed Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle on a freeway transition road in Long Beach, authorities said.
The fatal collision occurred around 9:24 p.m. on the transition road connecting the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway to the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian lying on the side of the roadway.
