Hollywood, California – A woman was killed early Thursday in a violent hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Wilton Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to investigators, the woman behind the wheel of the Range Rover fled the scene on foot and remains at large. Fox 11 reported that the Range Rover involved had been reported stolen.
LAPD officers shut down the area around Sunset and Wilton as they continued to investigate the deadly collision and search for the hit-and-run driver.
