Lake Elsinore, California – Seven individuals, including two children, were injured and taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Lake Elsinore.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 74 and Riverside Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Emergency responders arrived promptly and had to free multiple occupants who were trapped inside the vehicles.
“Five adults and two pediatric patients were transported to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance with moderate injuries,” officials said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
