Los Angeles, California – A two-vehicle crash in Los Angeles’ Vermont Knolls neighborhood left one person dead and another injured Monday morning.
The collision occurred around 8:50 a.m. in the 400 block of West Florence Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Lyndsey Lantz.
Firefighters pronounced one individual deceased at the scene and had to extricate the body from the wreckage before the arrival of the medical examiner, Lantz said.
Another person involved in the crash was transported to a hospital in fair condition, she added.
