Newport Beach, California – Authorities are searching for the driver who struck a woman in Newport Beach late Monday night, leaving her in critical condition.
The collision occurred around 10:25 p.m. at the busy intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and East Coast Highway, according to Sgt. Steve Oberon of the Newport Beach Police Department. Responding officers found the woman severely injured, and she was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she remains listed in critical condition.
