San Diego, California – A 60-year-old man was killed late Sunday night after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Hillcrest community, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The collision occurred just before midnight in the 3500 block of India Street. Police said the man was crossing India Street mid-block, heading northbound, when a silver or gray sedan traveling in the same direction approached a green light at Vine Street and hit him.
The driver fled the scene without stopping. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
